Pen Paper Palooza is a celebration of creativity, connection, and all things paper and pen. Founded in 2025 by comedian and lifelong stationery lover Michelle MaliZaki, our first-ever event brought together hundreds of pen pals, journal junkies, sticker collectors, and makers from Japan to Turkey to across the U.S. for two unforgettable days in Santa Monica.

From niche brands and legacy manufacturers to cozy workshops and surprise performances, Pen Paper Palooza is more than just a fair—it’s a home for anyone who finds joy in the feel of paper, the glide of ink, and the magic of analog in a digital world.
